What is GNGN?
GNGN is a swap tool that lets you trade tokenized stocks and crypto directly from your own wallet. It runs on Robinhood Chain, so trades settle on chain instead of through a traditional brokerage.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign up and no login. You connect a compatible wallet and start trading. Your wallet is your account.
Is GNGN custodial?
No. GNGN never takes custody of your funds. Every trade is signed and executed from your own wallet, and assets move wallet to wallet.
What can I trade?
You can swap between tokenized stocks, tokenized ETFs, and crypto assets available on Robinhood Chain, including ETH and other tokens with active liquidity. The full list is available in the token picker on the swap page.
Are tokenized stocks the same as owning the real stock?
Tokenized stocks are on chain assets designed to track the price of the underlying stock. They are not the same legal instrument as shares held through a traditional brokerage, and they do not carry shareholder rights such as voting. Always understand what you are holding before you trade.
Are there fees?
Trades may include a small service fee along with standard network gas costs. The exact amounts are shown in the trade details before you confirm anything, so you always see the full cost before you sign.
What wallets are supported?
Any wallet that supports Robinhood Chain and either browser extension injection or WalletConnect should work, including common options like MetaMask and Backpack. If your wallet is not on the right network yet, GNGN will prompt you to switch.
What is slippage tolerance?
Prices can move slightly between the moment you request a quote and the moment your trade confirms on chain. Slippage tolerance sets how much price movement you are willing to accept before the trade is cancelled instead of executed. You can adjust this in the swap settings.
My swap failed. What happened?
A failed transaction is usually caused by price movement beyond your slippage tolerance, insufficient balance to cover gas, or a temporary issue with network liquidity. Check the status message on the swap page for details, and try again with a fresh quote if needed.
Is my wallet safe to use with GNGN?
GNGN never asks for your seed phrase or private key, and never has the ability to move funds without your signature. As with any on chain tool, always check the details of a transaction in your wallet before approving it, and only connect to sites you trust.
